About Anime Mochi

Anime Mochi is a cozy little home for free, original browser games with a cute anime and mochi vibe. Everything here runs right in your browser, so there's nothing to download and nothing to install. Tap a game, and you're playing. You can enjoy it all on your phone, tablet, or desktop, and you never need an account or a sign-up.

We make every game ourselves, by hand, using plain HTML5, JavaScript, and Canvas. No app stores, no logins, no fuss. Just pick something that fits your mood and press play.

Who's behind Anime Mochi

Anime Mochi is an independent studio - small, self-funded, and run by the people who actually make the games, not a marketing team standing behind them. We're not a big publisher, and we don't license or resell anyone else's work. Anime Mochi is the home for the games we create, and animemochi.com is the only place we publish them.

We started it for a simple reason: the web used to be full of quick, joyful little games you could play in a single tab, and we wanted to make more of them - built with care, kept free, and friendly enough for kids and grown-ups alike. Every title you see here is something we designed because we wanted to play it ourselves.

How we make our games

Every game on the site is built from scratch in plain HTML5, JavaScript, and the Canvas and WebGL APIs - no off-the-shelf game engine, no template, and no third-party game embeds. For each one, we design the idea, write all the code, draw the art, synthesize the sound, and tune the difficulty ourselves, then keep updating it after release as we keep polishing.

Because everything is our own code running directly in your browser, the games load instantly, keep working once they're open, and can be installed to your home screen as an app. We'd much rather ship a small, carefully made collection we're proud of than flood the page with low-effort filler.
